How much does a Laos tour cost?+
Day tours in Luang Prabang typically range from USD 35 to USD 90 per person depending on group size, duration and whether transport is included. Multi-day Laos tour packages start from around USD 150 per person and go up based on accommodation and inclusions. All Duangpanya Tourism prices are transparent — no hidden fees, and we quote in USD, LAK or THB.
Do I need a licensed tour guide for Laos tours?+
You are not legally required to hire a guide as an independent tourist, but for cultural sites, national parks and trekking routes many locations either require or strongly recommend a licensed Lao tour guide. All Duangpanya Tourism tours include a licensed local guide at no extra cost.
What is the best time to book a Laos tour?+
The best time to visit Laos is November to February — cool, dry and clear skies. March to May is hot but quiet. June to October is green season with fewer crowds, full waterfalls and occasional rain. We run tours all year; book 2–4 weeks ahead for peak season (December–January).
Do your Laos tours include hotel pickup?+
Yes. Every Duangpanya Tourism tour includes pickup and drop-off at your hotel or guesthouse in Luang Prabang. For tours in other towns (Vang Vieng, Nong Khiaw, Pak Beng) pickup from your accommodation is also included.
