Duangpanya Tourism was founded in 2018 by a local Lao family in Phabong village, Khop district, Xayaburi Province. What started as a small transport service for friends crossing between Thailand and Laos has grown into a full Laos tour operator offering tours, slow boat journeys, motorbike rental, transport, tour guide services and immigration assistance.
We are not a big aggregator. We do not resell other people's tours. Every guide, driver and boat captain working with us is local, licensed, and known to the family personally. That's how we can keep prices fair and service honest.
Our name, Duangpanya (ດວງປັນຍາ), means “light of wisdom” in Lao. It is the value we try to bring to every traveller who books with us — sharing the quiet temples, hidden waterfalls, slow boats and warm hospitality that make Laos special.
